Susanna Wolff, soprano
Susanna Wolff studied singing at the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo and at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. In 2018 she won the first price in the singing competition in Spoleto, which lead to opera debuts in several theatres, among them Teatro San Carlo in Naples. She has been a soloist with orchestras in Italy and Spain, with both opera, concert repertoire and even zarzuela, which she has also recorded and which became part of the celebrated documentary El género chico. She is highly versatile and also performs contemporary music and Argentinian tango. Susanna is lauded for her musicianship and acting abilites. Career highlights include Flaminia in Haydn’s Il mondo della Luna with Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, Adalgisa in Bellini’s Norma at Folkoperan in Stockholm and her self produced one woman show STUM, premiered at the theatre Off Latina in Madrid. This year she sang the main role, Elise, at the world premiere of Solveig Sørbø’s opera Heroin Chic.
